“Maine, the way life should be” greets people as they drive into Maine on I-95. I want to archive and honor the places in Maine I never knew and those that still stand. I wasn’t born until after my favorite time period in Maine (1940’s - 1960’s) which might make me guilty of glamorizing an era based upon pretty brochures, postcards and personal anecdotes from people who lived through it. This blog is my guilty pleasure that I am sharing with you! We all need a little nostalgic escapism now and again. Think of this as your Virtual Vintage Vacationland.
